Tommy Woods

Tommy Woods, a member of the Tigers Class of 2018, played college baseball at two different Division I programs. A graduate of Mccluer North High School, Woods accumulated 239 at-bats while primarily playing third base at Norfolk State University.

Woods began his college career at Missouri State University in Springfield, Missouri, after a successful stint with the Tigers and at Mccluer North.

Following his time at Missouri State, he took the junior college route, attending Jefferson College and John A. Logan College.

Woods then landed at his fourth and final institution, Norfolk State University in Norfolk, VA, where he started 73 games at third base.

In 2022, starting 40 games for the Spartans, hitting .260 with three home runs and maintaining a fielding percentage of .851.
